Somehow, the last two years have flown by and Ian turned two this past Monday. Since we’re planning a paint-tastic party for him and his little friends, we headed to the park and let him and his big brother Eli have some messy fun. :) I’ll have to remember to post images from his party, but for now here’s the front of his party invitation.
Our good friends from the Twin Cities were in town for a short visit to Hazel’s grandma’s house. We don’t get to see them often – they’ve been hiking since April – so we jumped at the chance to visit with them and let the kids chase each other around for a bit. Eli talks about Hazel alot, telling me “go see Hazel?” but then gets shy and runs from her whenever she’s around. Silly boy! I guess he might just be embarrassed that she loves to give him kisses. She’s a little lover, that one! Lol! Here are a few favorite images to remember the day by. Oh, and the little guy is Ian, our growing three month old. Somehow, this is the first I’ve posted him on the blog…I feel terrible. Sorry Ian! Mommy really does love you :)
I have been neglecting my blog. Life with baby, along with work and everything else, gets crazy…of course you know that already :) I wanted to post a quick update tonight before bed. Eli is now 13.5 months, walking, talking, and testing mom and dad…baby proofing has gone to a new level…it’s now for our sanity, not just his safety! lol! This is him on Christmas morning, giving sweet cheezers from the tub :) (I plan to post a gallery of Christmas day pics soon).
Also, we are very excited to announce we are expecting another sweet baby boy in April 2011. The boys (boys!) will be just about 18 months apart…and hopefully the best of buddies, in due time :) Enjoy this little peek (22 weeks)…
